WHO ARE WE
FMCG SPAR AND FLM SPECIALISTS SINCE 1998
We are a Regional (Western Cape), Sales and Merchandising agent; operating in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) market. We currently only service SPAR and Food Lovers Market store but have exciting plans to extend into other retail chains in the near future. We have long standing relationships with principals and retailers and Category Buyers, built on integrity and consistent, reliable service.

MEET THE DIRECTORS
Desmonia manages all operational activities at Simunye and serves as the motivating force behind the team. She facilitates the onboarding of new principals while also being the primary contact for our current ones. Desmonia enthusiastically engages in trade visits and Buyer meetings with the principals.

Angie is responsible for the financial side of Simunye, as well heads the HR and IT departments. The office team works closely with both Angie and Desmonia to work seemlessly beside the Field Sales team, which is headed by Office Manager Jacqueline de Hahn, our longest serving staff member at Simunye.

Our Field Sales Teams service 101 SPAR stores and 23 Food Lovers Market stores in the Western Cape on a 4-week rotational schedule for efficiency. We utilize advanced information systems for instant sales orders and inventory counts.
MERCHANDISERS
Our Merchandisers are not merely shelf packers; they act as your in-store brand ambassadors on a daily basis. They undergo the same product training as our Sales Representatives, equipping them to confidently promote the brand.
TELESALES SUPPORT
Our Field Sales Teams service 101 SPAR stores and 23 Food Lovers Market stores in the Western Cape on a 4-week rotational schedule for efficiency. We utilize advanced information systems for instant sales orders and inventory counts.
- Generating and Emailing sales orders
- Securing of Prime Shelf Space & Planogram Maintenance
- Stock Rotation, monitoring and recording of sell-by dates
- Returns/ Damaged Stock Management
- Identifying Cross Merchandising opportunities

As a recognized FMCG specialist in the region, we provide services to over 135 SPAR stores and 23 Food Lovers Markets within a six-week period. Our senior management team boasts more than 40 years of combined experience. Over the past 30 years, we have dedicated ourselves to building strong relationships with retailers, investing in staff training, and consistently going the extra mile for your brand across the Western Cape.
Our solid reputation is founded on integrity, trust, and an unwavering commitment to bridging the gap between your brand and the stores.
SERVICE FEES
At Simunye, we have dedicated ourselves over the years to building trust and fostering relationships with retailers, establishing a strong reputation for delivering exceptional results at the store level. Since the needs of each principal are unique, we do not adhere to a standardized pricing structure. Instead, to cover operational costs and team commissions, we implement a monthly minimum fee along with a percentage of sales.
This cost will be negotiated and agreed upon prior to drafting a service level agreement, which will be reviewed by our labor lawyer.
The standard contract duration is one year, followed by a two-month notice period for contract termination applicable to both parties.
This attention to detail is essential for the well-being of both our companies and will clearly outline our respective areas of responsibility.
Many of our principals have been with us for an extended period, with some partnerships lasting over 20 years!
